Collingham Defibrillators Project
The Collingham Defibrillators Project has been managed by Collingham Parish Council since 2015, to provide defibrillators for emergency use at key locations around the village.
The original defibs were purchased with generous donations from parishioners and various community organisations, with the Parish Council continuing to maintain these devices and ensure that they are always ready to be deployed, should the need arise.
The construction of the new homes on The Hedgerows has brought an opportunity for an additional unit to be installed to extend emergency cover for the whole village and provide reassurance for the new home owners that should the need arise a defibrillator would be available quickly.
