Friends of the Trent Vale Trail

Friends of the Trent Vale Trail formed in 2017 to develop a safer off-road multi-user trail to link villages  and  amenities to the east of the River Trent.

So far the route links Newark via Collingham/Besthorpe to areas of environmental beauty. It provides a track for quiet exercise and opportunities to appreciate nature.  The trail is open to all with parts accessible for the less-able and horse riders. The Trail is part of the ‘Trent Vale Nature Recovery Network’.

We  are currently raising funds to build the link to Girton and onwards to North Clifton, to install information boards, and to improve wildlife areas.
