Girton Sailing Club Sailability Project

Our Sailability Programme is run by a team of volunteers who are members of Girton Sailing Club which has Community Amateur Sports Club registration. We provide access to the activity of sailing for people from the local community who have physical or learning disabilities.

We are seeking funding to buy a RS Venture Connect accessible sailing boat, which will enable people with disabilities to access the water and have the freedom to either sail independently or with RYA instructor support.

We have been awarded todate £11000, subject to us raising the remaining £22,500. We have already secured a donation of £2,500 and through Crowdfunding, we are confident in achieving our final total with the help of local grants and donations.
