RAF Benevolent Fund

We provide lifelong support to serving and ex-serving RAF personnel and their families. We’ll consider any request for assistance, however big or small, providing a tailor-made approach to each individual situation. From mobility aids and confidential counselling to financial grants, we offer a range of support tailored to the individual’s needs.

In 2024, we spent £15.1M on welfare delivery which supported:

– 32,587 serving personnel and their families with community activities and events
– 19,025 serving personnel and their families with individual support
– 3,964 veterans, their families and the bereaved with community activities and events
– 9,300 veterans, their families and the bereaved with individual support

We are also honoured to maintain and preserve both the RAF Memorial and RAF Bomber Command Memorial in London on behalf of the nation.
