Sturton & District Shed Club

The club was set up under the auspices of the UK Mens Shed Organisation to alleviate loneliness in the rural community, especially but not exclusively for men.  It aims to provide a safe space where members can socialise and build friendships, centred on workshop tasks, crafting, IT tuition, or simply talk and drink tea!

Loneliness and the resulting negative mental heath impact are very well known about now and we wish to address this.  The response to the Club in terms of membership application’s has been astounding.  We currently operate 2 self contained workshops, facilities that we would like to expand.
