Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team
Emma James, our Construction Administration Manager, nominated Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team for her Gusto Community Fund donation in memory of her Mum, Norma James (aka Normski) who sadly passed away on Glencoe in 1995. The Mountain Rescue team is a majority volunteer team who risk dangerous situations daily to help others. The volunteers gain some small support from the Scottish Government and Police. The donation, all be it, is far from the local community but lies close to the heart of Emma and her family and we hope the money can go a long way to helping others who might find themselves needing the help of the Rescue Team. The picture shows Norma James in happier times on her holidays in Scotland.
Mark Ripley of Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team said “Our Team comprises of just over 30 people, all of whom are volunteers, and we are all very grateful to people and organisations like The Gusto Community Fund for donations”.
